Meetings
All General Meetings of the QCRPA are held at Skellington Manor, 420 18th St., Rock Island, Illinois on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M. Board Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and are open to the members. The location of each Board Meeting may be ascertained by calling Ron Gruenhagen at (563) 570-1994.

Meeting topics
The informational part of our evening includes guest speakers informing us about topics of interest to those involved in the rental property business. Various topics include: suggested solutions to recurring problems, municipal and state issues related to the industry, and cost saving measures. In recent meetings we have presented panel discussions, city, state, and federal officials, bankers, lawyers, accountants, local experts, and national speakers. An informative presentation by a magistrate and step-by-step descriptions of the process involved in court house eviction has also been presented. The presentations generally last two hours and are designed to be interesting and informative.

Our members have found the social period and dinner a valuable part of our monthly meeting, through the interchange of ideas and networking with other QCRPA members.

The more you put into something, the more you will get out of it.

Local Newspaper Discounts for current QCRPA Members


Moline Dispatch/Rock Island Argus Instructions
Call the Dispatch/Argus offices in Moline at 309-797-0333. Any classifed representative can assist you - just tell them you are a QCRPA member. All ads are discounted for our members. Additionally, any ad that runs 14 days or more will be billed at a special QCRPA rate of $1.60 per line or less. Duplicate ads run simultaneously will receive an additional 25% discount.

You will receive a direct bill from the Dispatch/Argus. You will no longer be eligible for this program if your QCRPA membership expires.

QC Times Instructions
Call your ad into the QC Times, phone (563) 383-2222, and identify yourself as a QCRPA member. You can pay by credit card or check by phone. You can also mail a check or pay in person, but the ad would not start until payment is received. Our Member Rate is $2.28 per line per day plus $7.00 for an internet listing. This is a HUGE DISCOUNT. The QC Times present advertising rate for NON-MEMBERS goes from $3.50 per line per day up to $15.65 per line per day, depending on how many days the ad runs, and on whether it is a weekday or weekend.

So, at $2.28 per line, our members get discounts ranging from 35% (when compared to the $3.50 per line rate) to 85% (when compared to the $15.65 per line). THIS IS HUGE. A simple 3 line, 3 day ad can save you over $50, which will more than pay for your annual membership dues to the QCRPA. The QC Times does not offer this kind of discount to any other organization. This is ONLY for QCRPA MEMBERS. You will no longer be eligible for this program if your QCRPA membership expires.
